Description

Optical Encoder Module is a transmissive device. This module is designed to detect the linear position when used together with a linear strip. The Optical Encoder Module consists of an LED source and a monolithic detector IC enclosed in a small polymer package. The Optical Encoder Module uses phased array detector technology to provide superior performance and greater tolerances over traditional aperture mask type encoders.

The Optical Encoder Module provides digital quadrature outputs. Power is supplied from a single 5 VDC source.
