測量原理
分析所依據的測量原理與氧化鋯的使用有關,氧化鋯在高溫下可以表現得像固態電解質,在與不同 O 2濃度接觸的兩個電極上產生電動勢 (EMF)(分壓),與以開爾文度 (°K) 為單位的溫度以及兩個壓力 PO?2?‘ 和 PO?2?”之間比率的對數(根據能斯特眾所周知的比率)成正比:
