The TGU series gears feature a robust and highly compact design, with 99 efficiency, specifically intended for pit turbines. The efficiency of these units is largely due to double helical toothing (optimized for specific application), low-friction bearings and optimal lubrication. The gear system support is located halfway along the shaft, and when combined with clever ribbing, enables force transfer directly from turbine to the foundations, eliminating housing flexural stress and ensuring exceptional tooth meshing, even at maximum load. These models feature a power range from 500 to 7,500 kW, with 750 min-1 output shaft speed and 1:3 to 1:7 gear ratios.
