The Eisenbeiss driver gear systems of the KGDAM/KDDAM series are capable of handling demanding industrial conditions found close to the incandescent steel strand. These models are equipped with built-in cooling, special seal arrangement and lubricant pumps with combined immersion and forced-feed lubrication (designed to work without external power supply), ensuring smooth lubrication even at most demanding temperature gradients. Additionally, these models are very compact, due to bevel gear stages (allowing 90° horizontal or vertical motor alignment to driver rolls), making them suitable for use in confined areas, such as continuous casting lines. These units feature hollow shaft, and are available with motor ratings from 10 to 100 kW, gear ratios from 80 to 100.
