Eisenbeiss’ KGX series are gear systems for cutter or grinders equipment. These tools are continually exposed to extensive heat and dust generated by grinding. To produce the cutting motion, the gear unit is gradually inclined during cutting process. These devices provide an external lubricant supply unit with integrated cooling. These units ensure that, regardless of the position, toothwork and bearings are adequately supplied with lubricant, and the gears are at the right operating temperature.

In addition, the gear housing must accommodate the pressure with which the abrasive wheel is applied, without either the housing or the output shaft deforming. These tools has an output shaft speed of up to 4000 rpm, which make the high demands on the anti-friction bearings in the gear system.
